Health and Temperment are Our Top Priorities
Our goal is to produce well-socialized, healthy bernedoodle pets, using responsible breeding practices. We start by using parent dogs that are health tested and then spend time matching up parents that will provide qualities we are looking for based on temperament, size, and coat. Our puppies are raised using ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and ESI (Early Scent Introduction).
What is ENS and ESI?
ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) is a 5-step handling program completed on days 3-16, that exposes puppies to mild, brief stressors to improve heart health, stress tolerance, and disease resistance.
ESI (Early Scent Introduction) is a program completed on days 3-16 that exposes puppies to a new, distinct scent daily. This awakens a puppy's nose and helps improve future scent tracking, environmental confidence, and problem solving skills. This early stimulation creates early brain growth, awareness and responsivness in your companion-to-be.

Who Are We?
We are a family of Bernedoodle breeders in Pittsburg, Illinois, located in beautiful Southern Illinois. All of our dogs are fully health tested, raised at home, on our 16 acre property. Our entire family is involved in helping raise the puppies, expose them to challenges, and be ready for all the things that life has in store for them!
Our first Bernedoodle girl, Daisy, brought us so much happiness, light, and laughter, we decided very quickly that we needed another Bernedoodle. Along came Cora, just two months later, and they quickly became best friends! It was the best decision (and I'm convinced that it is impossible to just own one!
Our dogs are very much part of our big family. We take them camping, swimming, into town for icecream, and sometimes just down the drive to the mailbox or to drop off the trash. When we spend our evenings sitting on the porch, our watching television, our dogs are always with us. They are family!
We've spent many months testing through Embark, Animal Genetics, x-rays of hips, elbows, patellar, eye examinations, heart examinations, and ultimately submitting these findings through Penn hip and OFA.
We are transparent in our testing, and will share testing of our breeding dogs. We have a local repro vet who provides us with quality care and advice.
At this time, we have two female dogs-Cora and Daisy. We do not own any stud dogs, but instead we collaborate with other breeders who follow the same health testing standards, in order to find the best qualities for our breed pairings.
